Cello Player porcelaine ca 1910 by Vilmos Zsolnay ( 1828-1900 - Pechs, Hungary )

Hungarian porcelain artist working in his own manufacture in Pechs, Hungary.

This porcelain was manufactured by the factory upon drawings of the artist after his death.

Specificities of this artist were in using eosin for red color and pyrogranite.

Fired at high temperature gives a very glossy aspect to these porcelains.
