Product Description

Luxurious oval coffee table, in style Louis XV (1710 – 1774) , made in rosewood and mahogany inlaid and veneered, with one front drawer, and a white carrare light gray veined marble top.

This table is surrounded by a gorgeous bronze openwork gallery around the marble top, also around the low shelf .

The low shelf is also mahogany veneered.

Top and bottom of feet are decorated with golden bronze acanthus leaves.

Louis XV, King of France ,born and passed away in Versailles Castle, near Paris, inspired the most famous artists and cabinet makers of his time, with also Georges Beauvais and Jean François Leleu one of the most famous cabinet maker and first of an ebenist family for centuries.
