Little Saxe porcelaine with shiny colors, by Friedriech KARL ENS ( 1802 – 1865 ) . This piece is unique, hand painted , ca 1855 .

Friedriech KARL ENS was one of the most famous painter on porcelaine, working first in his father’s porcelaine factory in Lausha ( Germany ) , then in Meissen manufacture, near Dresden.

The name “Porcelaine de Saxe” gathered several german porcelaine manufactures. Meissen was the most famous one with the more well known artists. Friedriech KARL ENS worked in Meissen between 1931 and 1940.

Meissen is a small city near Dresden in Germany. The porcelaine manufacture began in 1710 and is still working today. Specificity of this porcelaine is to involve a great use of kaolin.
